Philips a pioneer in health technology, today introduced the Mobile Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in India. Each of these pre-fabricated ICUs has a capacity of nine beds, geared to meet the critical-care needs of patients. These will be produced locally by Philips in India.

Each portable ICU is equipped with state-of-the-art critical-care infrastructures such as individual patient cubicles, high-end washrooms with anti-bacterial paint, and a self-disinfection facility to avoid cross-contamination.
