Xiaomi is going to launch its first laptop in India. It can be launched on June 11. A report claimed that Xiaomi’s new laptop will be a rebranded version of Xiaomi RedmiBook 13, which will be sold under the Mi brand in India. There was a post on twitter last week on behalf of Xiaomi’s India head Manu Kumar Jain, in which the laptop Manu Jain is seen using, is being called Xiaomi’s Mi Laptop Air which will soon hit the market.
According to media reports, Xiaomi’s laptop will be in a bezel-less design, which will come with the Intel processor. The company has confirmed that its first laptop will come at an affordable price point like its Redmi smartphone. Chinese company Xiaomi’s 1C charging was also teased on social media. But as of now, no official information has been given about the charger.
Xiaomi RedmiBook 13 Specifications
Xiaomi RedmiBook 13 was launched in China in December last year for around Rs 44,500. Intel Core i5 chipset was used in it. At the same time, its Core i7 processor variant was introduced for Rs 54,900. Xiaomi’s new laptop can be given a 13.3-inch display, which will come with full HD resolution 1920/1080 pixels. Xiaomi’s first laptop will compete with Flipkart’s Falkon Aerbook, which will be similar to the Xiaomi RedmiBook 13 in price and features.
The laptop can be offered with a 10th generation Intel Core processor in 8GB RAM and 512GB storage option. Apart from this, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card has been given on the company laptop. The laptop is expected to get a 65W power adapter with a 40Whr cell and 1C charging support. Laptops can be charged up to 50 percent in 35 minutes. Xiaomi is claiming to have 11 hours of video playback on a single charge. This laptop will come with Windows 10 Home Edition with connectivity features like two USB 3.1 ports, one HDMI port, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and 3.5mm audio jack.
