Foldable and flip phones have a lot of craze in the smartphone market nowadays. After Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, Motorola Razr, and Huawei Mate X, now Microsoft is also preparing to enter the foldable market and the company will launch this phone under the name Microsoft Surface Duo. Last year, information related to the foldable phone was shared by the company and it is expected that this smartphone can be launched soon. The launch news has now leaked the specifications of Microsoft’s upcoming foldable phone Surface Duo.

Microsoft Surface Duo Specifications

According to Windowscentral’s report, the Microsoft Surface Duo will have a 5.6-inch main display with a screen resolution of 1800 x 1350 pixels. This smartphone will be powered by last year’s flagship chipset that is Snapdragon 855. According to the report, this smartphone will be 4.8mm slim. It can be provided with 6GB RAM and available in two 64GB and 256GB storage variants.

Microsoft Surface Duo has a 3460mAh battery for power backup with support of USB Type-C fast charging. The phone will have an 11MP single camera. Users will be able to use it as both rear and front cameras. Talking about other features, the report states that the Microsoft Surface Duo will currently be based on Android 10 but soon the company will roll out the Android 11 update. But it will not have features like wireless charging, NFC, and 5G support. This phone will launch with 4G LTE support.

The report also informs that drag and drop support will be provided for both displays in Microsoft Surface Duo. However, it has not been revealed yet which pre-installed apps this phone will knock with nor has any official information about its price and launch date been shared. But it has been said in the report that this smartphone is almost ready. That is, it can be launched in the coming days.
