Realme 6 Detailed Review and Specification

Realme new smartphone for the mid-range segments that is Realme 6. A shift from 10k bracket to the mid-range segment looks impressive and can be experienced with the smartphone & its specifications. Realme 6 comes as a powerful smartphone and emerging as a new mid-range killer. The number series of Realme is always coming to be very exciting. Realme 6 comes with the powerful MediaTek G90T chipset as we told you earlier in our article, so let’s stick with the article to check the detailed review of Realme 6.


Realme 6 brings the IPS LCD punch-hole display of 6.5 sizes with the Full HD+ resolution. Realme has provided us a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on a display. Amazing thing is that this is a 90 Hertz display with the 480 nits brightness. Experience with the display is superb, the display quality is very good and the viewing angles are also good.


Realme 6 has a new comet design which looks very appealing. The camera setup is the same as we see in Realme XT the white color variant of the smartphone looks 99% to the Realme XT. Realme 6 weighs around 191 grams. We get to see a plastic back with aluminum coating, which means it is a polycarbonate display. But overall the design feels premium in your hand.

Powerful Realme 6


Realme 6 comes with an Helio G90T chipset which is one of the powerful mid-range chipsets that we have right now. Helio G90T is an octa-core processor that is built on 12nm fabrication and has a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz. The chipset is coupled with a Mali-G72 GPU to provide powerful gaming performance. The smartphone has three variants of 4/64 GB, 6/128 GB and 8/128GB. It has UFS2.1 storage and LPDDR4 Ram. The gaming performance of the smartphone is very powerful, G90T chipset is a definite gaming chipset that can handle heavy games like PUBG, even you can get gameplay setting up to HDR and extreme frames per second.

We get to see a Realme UI on a smartphone which is based on Android 10. The Realme UI provides you almost stock android experience. Realme UI has also other exciting features that give you ultimate look & feel.


Realme 6 comes with a rear quad camera setup. We get to see a 64 Megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor of aperture f/1.8. The secondary sensor is an 8 Megapixel wide-angle lens of aperture f/2.3. The third one is a 2 Megapixel sensor of aperture f/2.4. The last one is a 2 Megapixel B&W depth sensor of aperture f/2.4. Realme 6 camera can shoot video up to 4k resolution at 30 frames per second. The night mode we see on a smartphone seems improved.

The front camera is a 16 Megapixel sensor of aperture f/2.0. We get to see video bokeh mode on both front and rear cameras. Realme also introduced vlogging mode on the smartphone which quite similar to Vlogging mode on Poco X2. The camera performance of the smartphone is quite similar to Realme XT. But we get some improvements and better camera performance.

Battery & Other Features

Realme 6 comes with the 4200 mAh battery capacity that supports 30W VOOC fast charging out of the box. We have all the major sensors and have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which very fast and accurate. In my opinion, is better than both the in-display and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

As Realme has increased the price range, the specification we are getting is very powerful. Under 14k we get Helio G90T dense gaming chipset and interesting camera setup. Also, the 30W VOOC Fast Charger is out of the box. Therefore, you cannot get a better smartphone than this. In fact, Realme 6 is more value for money options than Realme 6 Pro.
