We have got our first two smartphones in India with a 5G network compatibility. Both smartphones are the perfect competitors for each other. Before the announcement of the X50 Pro 5G, iQoo claimed to be the first smartphone to bring the 5G, but things changed after the Realme X50 Pro 5G was announced. Apart from 5G, these are the only smartphones with the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset right now in the market. So, in this article, we are going to check who is the real 5G king.
Realme X50 Pro has 6.4 inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90 Hertz refresh rate. The screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and comes with an HDR10 certification. It bears a dual punch hole panel which gives a screen to body ratio 84.9%.
The iQoo 3 has a 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display of Full HD+ resolution with the standard refresh rate of 60 Hertz. The screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and spot a single punch hole panel.
In terms of display, both smartphones are top-notch. Both have a Super AMOLED panel and provides 180 Hertz touch responses which gives you immersive experience while playing games. But Realme provides you 90 Hertz display which gives you more fluent experience than the iQoo 3. Also, iQoo 3 delivers brightness up to 1200 nits which are very bright and helps you to provide a better experience in outdoor conditions. Overall, in terms of display, you can not differentiate the major difference between the two.
Both Realme X50 Pro 5G and iQoo 3 come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 is an octa-core processor having clock speed up to 2.84 GHz builds on 7nm technology. The chipset is coupled with an Adreno 650 GPU.
Both the smartphones come with the latest LPPDR5 RAM but whereas iQoo 3 brings UFS 3.1, Realme X50 Pro is using UFS3.0. The storage version makes a little bit of difference but not the major. Due to this, we can see the difference of 10 thousand scores on AnTutu.
From a software point of view, Realme X50 Pro comes with the Realme UI based on Android 10 while iQoo 3 has iQoo UI which is also based on Android 10. Both the UI are fluent looks great, but in my point of view, I feel iQoo UI gives you more options like Monster Mode.
In terms of performance, you will get an exact day to day life experience, also in gaming too both the smartphones will give you explicit performance. So, you will not find any difference.
Realme X50 Pro comes with the quad rear camera setup. It has a 64 Megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor of aperture f/1.8. The secondary one is a 12 Megapixel telephoto lens of aperture f/2.5 that provides 2X optical and 20X hybrid zoom. The third one is an 8 Megapixel wide-angle lens of aperture f/2.3 that provides a 120-degree field of view. The third sensor is also capable of micro shot up to 3 cm. The fourth one is a 2 Megapixel black and white depth sensor of aperture f/2.4.
iQoo 3 comes with the quad rear camera setup. It has a 48 Megapixel sensor of aperture f/1.8. The secondary one is a 13 Megapixel telephoto lens of aperture f/2.5 that provides 2X optical and 20X hybrid zoom. The third one is a 13 Megapixel wide-angle lens of aperture f/2.2 that provides a 120-degree field of view. The fourth one is a 2 Megapixel depth sensor of aperture f/2.4.
First, let’s talk about the primary sensor, Realme X50 Pro gives you a 64 Megapixel sensor while iQoo 3 provides 48 Megapixel sensor. Also, image optimization on Realme X50 Pro is more optimized than iQoo 3 thus it delivers better pictures with more details.
The secondary sensor is a telephoto lens, in Realme we see a 12 Megapixel sensor while iQoo provides you 13 Megapixel shot. Both devices give almost equal output, so there is not a major difference.
The third one is a wide-angle lens, and clearly, iQoo 3 gives you better wide-angle shots than Realme X50 Pro due to the 13 Megapixel bigger sensor which outplay the 8 Megapixel wide-angle lens in Realme. Also, Realme makes able to click macro shots up to 3cm which improves closer shots in a smartphone.
The last one is a depth sensor, and we found Realme portrait shots look better than iQoo 3. We also found edge detection issues in iQoo 3. Also, Realme provides premium features like Video Portrait recording
Winner: Realme X50 Pro 5G
Realme X50 Pro comes with the dual selfie camera setup. It has a 32 Megapixel primary front camera and a secondary wide-angle lens of 8 Megapixel sensor. iQoo3 provides 16-megapixel single sensor on the front.
iQoo 3 gives neck to neck competition to Realme X50 Pro despite having 16 Megapixel sensors. But arbitrament gives Realme X50 Pro a true winner. The wide-angle lens gives you a benefit to capture more areas in a selfie.
Winner: Realme X50 Pro 5G
Realme X50 Pro comes with a 4200 mAh battery with a support of 65 Watt Super Dart charging. iQoo 3 packed a 4444 mAh battery that can be charger through 55W Super Flash Charge.
Both smartphones give the same battery backup, which means you can easily get a battery life of 1 day, and if you are a normal user it can be used more than 1 day too. But Realme provides you more powerful fast charging technique, thus it helps to refill fast your smartphone.
Winner: Realme X50 Pro 5G
Both smartphones have an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. On both devices, these security options work fast and accurately. But iQoo 3 comes with a trigger button, that makes your gaming experience the next level.
Winner: iQoo 3
Both the smartphone are good. But when we compare pricing, the 5G model in iQoo 3 is only for the 12/256 GB model while all the Realme X50 Pto variants have 5G technology. Apart from that too, I think Realme X50 Pro provides more options and features than iQoo 3.
