In recent times, we have seen a teaser of Realme’s new device “Realme 5s”. This is an upgraded version of Realme 5 which will be launched with Realme X2 Pro at the event. The main boost is in the camera department. It has a similar quad-camera setup but this time we’ve got a 48-megapixel primary camera. In terms of design, it has the same diamond-cut design that we see in Realme 5. Essentially Realme 5s will compete with the Redmi Note 8 as it also has a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup.
Amend the Camera Department
Realme 5s has a 48 Megapixel primary camera. By now we do not have any confirmation about the sensor. Most probably it would have Sony IMX 586 sensor that we saw in Realme 5 Pro. It has an 8 Megapixel wide-angle lens. The other two sensors are 2 Megapixels depth and a macro lens. The camera department will come up with optimization according to the 48 Megapixel setup. Predominantly, camera performance will be on the brink of Realme 5 Pro.
We have confirmation that it has a 5000 mAh battery which is the same as in Realme 5. In terms of display, it has a 6.51 inches HD display. Coming to the performance zone then it is powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset. Overall the specification is similar to Realme 5.
In terms of pricing, it will be around 9-10k for the base variant. The biggest motive is to compete with the Redmi Note 8. However, this will not do justice to the users who recently bought Realme 5. But we know that competition in the smartphone market is very intense in the mid-range. So, if you are looking to buy a smartphone around 10k then you should wait for Realme 5s release. We will give you a detailed comparison between Redmi Note 8 and Realme 5s so you can choose the best one.
