Motorola One Action Detailed Review and Specifiaction: PUBG in HDR under 15K

Motorola has been struggling in the Indian market since last year. After the Lenovo acquisition, Motorola is not delivering smartphones according to the there standard. As we know the Indian smartphone market is very competitive right now, especially at the 15k price range, each company will have to offer more specs at an aggressive price which was missing from Motorola. Recently it seems that Motorola is trying to make a comeback in the smartphone market again. Recently they have launched their new smartphone Motorola One Action which is great. So, let’s take a look at what Motorola has brought for us.

Display & Design

The Motorola One Action has a 6.1-inch full HD IPS display. It is a punch-hole display that is significantly larger than other devices with a punch-hole design. It looks strange and not good. Motorola calls it the CinemaVision display and it gives you a great experience when watching movies and videos. But overall design-wise punch hole placement is very poor which makes design worse.

It is powered by an Exynos 9609 chipset which is made on a 10nm technology having clock speed up to 2.2 GHz. The chipset is coupled with ARM Mali- G72 GPU. In terms of gaming performance, it is the only device that will run PUBG in HDR under 15k. Gaming performance is good, it doesn’t show any major lags. Also, in terms of a daily routine task, the smartphone will give you the fluent experience. The smartphone is part of the Android One Programm and is running on Stock Android based on Android Pie.

It has a triple rear camera setup. It has a 12 Megapixel primary rear sensor of aperture f/1.8. The secondary rear camera is a 5 Megapixel depth sensor. The third one is a 16 Megapixel video camera sensor that is a wide-angle lens of aperture f/2.2. It provides a 117-degree field of view. But the wide-angle lens can be used only at a time of the video. You can not use it to click a photo. The smartphone has a 12 Megapixel front camera of aperture f/2.0 Therefore, in terms of the camera department, it has the ability to do well, but it did not look like this.

Battery & Other Features

It has a 3500 mAh non-removable battery with a 10W basic charger. It has all the major sensor including a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which quite slow compares to others. It comes with a Widevine L1 certification out of the box.

Motorola One Action has a potential but looking at its competition in market we can say it is not easy for the smartphone to compete with it. It has some cons that cannot be neglected like its weird punch-hole design. We have such a great subsequent present in the market like Realme 5 Pro and Mi A3 which is also an Android One Smartphone. So, in my opinion, there are not any pros in this device that attracts me towards it.
