Oppo introduces the successor of interesting K1 in India. On 23rd July they launched the Oppo K3. The smartphone seems to be the exact copy of Realme X with some minor changes. OPPO K1 is one of the underrated devices with interesting specs but this time Oppo disappoints us. Still, they maintain some changes in design with there innovative and aesthetic pattern. So, let’s check out can Oppo K3 competes in the market.
Display & Design
Oppo K3 comes with a 6.5 inches AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The same trending pop-up module is present in the device which delivers the 91% screen to body ratio. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Oppo has always delivered some trendy design with some gradient and 3D type finishing.
Oppo K3 comes with a Snapdragon 710 chipset which is an octa-core processor based on a 10nm the technology. The processor is based on Kyro 360 cores having clock speed up to 2.2 GHz. The 700 series has more powerful in terms of GPU compare to 600 series. Adreno 616 GPU delivers sprightly gaming performance. So, heavy games like PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9 can be playable without any lag. This is also the same chipset that can handle a game like Fortnite. Oppo K3 comes with a Color OS 6.0 based on Android Pie.
Oppo K3 comes with the dual rear camera setup. The primary camera has a 16 Megapixel Sony IMX 519 sensor of f/1.7 aperture. The secondary rear camera has a 2-megapixel sensor of aperture f/2.4. The rear camera comes with a basic model that we see in color OS like Chroma Boost and Nightscape. Rear supports 10X digital zoom and in-build image stabilization that helps to shoot stable video. The rear camera is somehow downgraded if we compare it with its twin brother Realme X. The front camera has a 16 Megapixel sensor of f/2.0 aperture.
Battery & Other Features
Oppo K3 comes with a 3765 mAh battery that supports fast charging through Oppo VOOC 3. In terms of battery, Oppo can bring some competition for Realme but in the end, we get the same battery and I think 710 is again the biggest reason to compromise with smaller battery due to its immersive efficiency. The smartphone has an In-display fingerprint scanner for security and comes with all the basic sensor & connectivity.
The smartphone can sell some numbers in an offline market with gloating features like a pop-up selfie-and in-display fingerprint sensor. but in my opinion Realme X is the better and option than this as it has 48 Megapixel cameras with the same specs that we see in Oppo K3. So, I don’t think Oppo can vend some big numbers as it has big competitors like Realme X and Vivo Z1 Pro. My last word is don’t go for Oppo K3 as we have more and great options than it.
