Realme has launched its mid flagship smartphone in India. The smartphone comes with some prominent rich features, but simultaneously the smartphone looks silently. Realme X is going to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi K20. After the Chinese launch, there is a lot of excitement emerged for Realme X. So, Let’s check out what Realme brought to us.

Display

Realme X has a 6.5 inches Super AMOLED screen of Full HD+ resolution. It is the first Realme smartphone comes with an AMOLED display. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In terms of designing the smartphone gives you the premium feel and Realme always gives us excellence in terms of design. The 3D pattern design gives eye-catching views. The pop-up module gives us the 91 % screen to body ratio.

Realme X

Performace

In the new Realme X, there is the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset which we saw in Realme 3 Pro. SD 710 is not a bad chipset, but at present, we have Vivo Z1 Pro in the market, which has SD 712 and we were hoping to provide SD 712 from Realme but they did not do this. SD 710 is not a bad chipset, while its lineup chipset has a powerful CPU compared to 600 series. Therefore, the smartphone gives you an immersive experience when playing a PUBG or in daily work. Also, we get a UFS 2.1 storage upt0 8 GB Ram and 128 GB internal storage. We get a Hyper Boost 2.0 technology that boosts up the gaming experience. Realme X comes with a Color OS 6.0 based on Android Pie.

Camera

Realme X has a dual rear camera setup. The primary rear camera has 48 MP Sony IMX 586 sensor of f/1.7 aperture. The secondary rear camera has a 5 Megapixels sensor of aperture f/2.4. The rear camera comes with a basic model that we see in Color OS like Chroma Boost and Nightscape. There is no objection from the Realme X optimization, in fact, we get to see a clear crisp shot with its 48 Megapixel Ultra Shot. Realme X comes with a 16 Megapixel Sony IMX 471 selfie sensor of f/2.0 aperture. The pop-up mechanism test over 2,00,000 times. We can shot video at 4k resolution @ 30 fps. Also, like Realme 3 Pro we get super slow motion features in which we can shoot video @ 960 fps for a 720p resolution.

Battery and Other Features

Realme X comes with a 3765 mAh battery. Meanwhile, we get a VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 fast charge in a box but looking at the competition it seems not acceptable. I think they can provide us a bigger battery but SD710 is an efficient chipset so we can adjust with it. We get an In-display fingerprint scanner based on Goodix G2.4 fingerprint scanner module which is quite fast and accurate compared to the competitor.

Verdict

Now, Realme X is a great device and it’s good to compete with its rival Redmi K20. But Practically Realme introduces a great device and its price is one of the best devices in the range. Now, the major competition is between Realme X and Vivo Z1 Pro. Vivo Z1 Pro is a device designed for a consumer that wants gaming performance with bigger batteries, while Realme X is a stylish smartphone with innovative features like in-display scanners and pop-up mechanisms. So, if you want an innovative design and wanted an immersive media experience than you should go for Realme X without any worry.
